   • Flawed as it is, The Cobbler retains interest throughout, chiefly because Sandler isn't bad in a rare semi-dramatic performance. What starts off as a potentially charming fantasy never finds its footing. Thoroughly enjoyable fantasy that intermingles humor with pathos and charm. Don't miss it. Reminiscent of a Twilight Zone episode, but far better.
