As for my favorite adaptation of the Animated Death of Superman film, I'd say both. Superman Doomsday from 2007 wasn't a complete disaster, but it certainly deviated from the story arc. It's like an alternate version of what could've happened in the DCAU, not quite hitting the same notes but still entertaining.

I bought Superman: Doomsday / Death of Superman for my nephew's 2019 Christmas present. He loved the story and liked the movie, so it's a win! The hardcover means repeated readings without pages falling out, plus he thinks it looks great on his dresser.
