- Tony Thomas, a former broadcaster for the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. who later moved to Los Angeles and penned numerous Hollywood-themed books, has died. Thomas died Tuesday at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank of complications from pneumonia. He was 69.
