- About
Founded in San Diego in 1980, Voices for Children is a private, nonprofit organization that recruits, trains, and supports Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers who speak up for the needs and well-being of children in foster care.
Children in foster care have experienced abuse and neglect. Once they enter the dependency system, their world suddenly includes court hearings, social workers, attorneys, and often new homes and schools. Amidst it all, a CASA is the one consistent, caring presence for a child.
Voices for Children in Nebraska is the independent voice building pathways to opportunity for all children and families through research, policy, and community engagement.
Voices for Children offers small groups and continuing education including recommended readings, presentations on specific issues impacting foster care, and group discussions with fellow CASAs. Get In Touch
