Once claimed, use these credentials to log into the WakeID Portal at https://wakeid.wcpss.net. Use the WakeID Portal to access multiple WCPSS provided applications such as Google and Canvas.

The WCPSS Student and Parent Guides to Technology provides information on how to login to the Wake ID Portal to access PowerSchool and student email, how to set up and use Chromebooks and Internet hotspots, how to connect to WiFi, how to use learning systems such as Google Classroom and Canvas, and much more.
New students will need to request their WakeID from school staff. Instructions on how to access Home Base applications which includes PowerSchool, can be found here | en español. Elementary students will receive information regarding their accounts from their teachers. This will begin once the elementary level begins using HomeBase applications.
Jul 2, 2024 · All new staff are required to visit the WakeID Portal and claim their WakeID by answering three security questions. Once you have claimed your WakeID and set your password, you can access applications through the WakeID Portal. Students do not need to claim accounts.
