  4. Nice monument commemorating the end of the Franco-Prussian war. This established "Germany" and is also considered the "Unification of Germany". There are benches in front of the monument, facing the river, and what a view it is! You can walk up from the town of Ruedesheim am Rhein or ride the cable car/gondola.
