This wikiHow guide will show you how to evolve Roselia into Roserade. Roserade is an excellent Poison and Grass Pokémon, and the final evolution of Budew. You’ll need a Shiny Stone to evolve Roselia into Roserade. If you know where to look, the stone will be easy to find. Note that Roserade is only available in Generations IV and later. For example, you can obtain Roserade in Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum (or Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl).
Get a Roselia either by evolving Budew or capturing a wild Roselia.
Evolve Roselia into Roserade by giving Roselia a Shiny Stone.
Shiny Stone locations vary depending on the version of Pokémon you’re playing.
Budew evolves into Roselia. Budew is a small Bud Pokémon that looks like a plant sapling. You can either find and evolve a Budew, or capture a Roselia directly. To evolve Budew, you’ll need to have high friendship with Budew during the day time.
Here are a few common locations for finding Budew:
Diamond and Pearl: Route 204, Route 212, Eterna Forest, Great Marsh
Platinum: Route 204, Route 205, Route 208, Eterna Forest
HeartGold and SoulSilver: Safari Zone, Ilex Forest, Viridian Forest
X and Y: Route 4
This is a necessary component of evolving Roselia into Roserade. The locations for finding a Shiny Stone varies depending on what game you’re playing. Here are a few common locations:
Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum: Route 210 or 228, Iron Island
HeartGold and SoulSilver: National Park, Route 14
Black 2 and White 2: Route 6, Abundant Shrine, Dragonspiral Tower, Undella Town
X and Y: Route 12 or 18
Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire: Route 121
