Jovian (April 10, 1994 – November 10, 2014) was a Coquerel's sifaka lemur, best known for portraying the title character in the children's television series Zoboomafoo.
A creation of the Kratt Brothers (Chris and Martin), it features a four-(later five)-year-old talking lemur (a Coquerel's sifaka) named Zoboomafoo, performed by Canadian puppeteer Gord Robertson (who had also puppeteered on Jim Henson's Fraggle Rock), and mainly portrayed by a lemur named Jovian, along with a collection of returned animal guests.
Outside the Lemur Center, Jovian was famous as “Zoboomafoo” the leaping, prancing otherworldly star of the PBS Kids show by the same name, hosted by brothers Martin and Chris Kratt. He was a graceful, long-limbed co-star with cream and russet fur and bright, intelligent yellow eyes and he taught millions of children what a lemur is.

Jovian was the Coquerel's Sifaka lemur who played Zoboo in Zoboomafoo. He lived at the Duke Lemur Center in North Carolina. Jovian died of liver failure on November 10, 2014.
