The Dukes of Hazzard is an American action comedy television series created by Gy Waldron that aired on CBS from January 26, 1979, to February 8, 1985, with a total of seven seasons consisting of 147 episodes.
Bo and Luke Duke stop to help a pregnant neighbor and find themselves in the midst of one of the most explosive events ever in Hazzard County. The Dukes inadvertently uncover a counterfeiting ring when they try to buy one of racer Richard Petty's wrecks from Hazzard's dishonest used car dealer.
While in jail, Colt suddenly becomes ill, forcing the local physician to quarantine the jail with the Duke boys, Colt, Boss and Rosco inside. However, there's more to the illness than meets the eye, particularly after an armed robbery at Hazzard Bank.
Plot Summary. The television series The Dukes of Hazzard followed Bo and Luke Duke, two cousins living in an unincorporated area of the fictional Hazzard County, Georgia, racing around in their modified 1969 Dodge Charger, The General Lee, evading corrupt county commissioner Boss Hogg and his inept county sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane.
Bo and Luke Duke were handsome and honest hotshots and cousins living with their Uncle Jesse and sexy short-shorts-wearin' cousin Daisy on a farm in Hazzard County located somewhere in the Southern United States.
