- Company "E", 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division - is a living history unit. More commonly referred to as "Easy Company", our unit stretches from New England down into the Mid-Atlantic region. Currently our roster has 70 members, of which more than half are "active" participating in 90% of our events.
E Company, 2nd Battalion of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division, the "Screaming Eagles", is a company in the United States Army. The company was referred to as "Easy" after the radio call for "E" in the phonetic alphabet used during World War II.

Aug 30, 2023 · Arguably the best-known member of Easy Company, Richard Winters began his service with the 101st Airborne Division as a first lieutenant. He parachuted into Normandy on D-Day with his comrades and went on to fight across the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.

May 30, 2022 · In July 1942, the 140 men and seven officers who formed the first iteration of Easy Company — or E Company, 2nd Battalion of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division — gathered for training at Camp Toccoa in Georgia. The soldiers had a few attributes in common.

- Dick Winters. If there is a central character in Band of Brothers, it’s Richard “Dick” Winters. The eventual commander of Easy Company was born in 1918 in Pennsylvania.
