The 1995–96 Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball team represented the University of Kentucky in the 1995–96 college basketball season. Coached by Rick Pitino, the team finished the season with a 34–2 record and won the NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championship over the Syracuse University Orangemen, 76–67. [2]

Kentucky finished the 1995-96 season with a 34-2 record. They defeated Syracuse University 76-67 in the National Championship final. Senior Tony Delk came away with Most Outstanding Player honors after tying a NCAA record for hitting seven three-point shots in the game.

May 18, 2016 · Kentucky strung together 25 consecutive wins, including a 16-0 mark in Southeastern Conference play, midway through the 1995-96 season and rolled to its sixth national championship. The dynamic duo of Tony Delk (17.8 ppg) and Antoine Walker (15.2 ppg) led the Wildcats’ team dubbed “The Untouchables” by head coach Rick Pitino.
