Dec 18, 2023 · Country legend Willie Nelson, 90, just opened up about his relationship with wife Annie D'Angelo, 66, and it sounds like they've really created a special bond over their 31 years together.
After gaining a minor role in Annie Hall in 1977, D'Angelo appeared in a string of hit films in the late 1970s including Every Which Way But Loose, Hair, and Coal Miner's Daughter, the last earning her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her performance as Patsy Cline.
- Martha Matthews. The songwriter's first wife was Martha Matthews. Nelson and Matthews were married from 1952 to 1962. The marriage was a contentious and violent one.
- Shirley Collie. The country legend's second wife was Shirley Collie, whom he married in 1963, soon after his first marriage ended. This marriage ended almost as bizarrely as his first.
- Connie Koepke. But all's well that ends well? Nelson went on to marry Koepke a short time later and they eventually had another child, Amy Lee Nelson. Of course, this is only the third marriage we're writing about, so obviously this one wasn't meant to last either.
- Annie D'Angelo. Deciding to finally take a few years off from being married to someone (anyone?) the "On the Road Again" singer didn't marry again until 1991, when he tied the knot with his current and fourth wife, Annie D'Angelo.
Nelson married Koepke the same year, and they had another daughter, Amy Lee Nelson. Following a divorce in 1988, he married his current wife, Annie D'Angelo, in 1991. They have two sons, Lukas Autry and Jacob Micah. In 2012, Nelson learned that he fathered a daughter with his friend Mary Haney.
