Feb 4, 2023 · 5. Trumansburg. This is one of the most unexpected and best small towns in upstate New York. I stopped by on a whim while visiting the Finger Lakes and fell in love. This little hidden gem is less than 2 miles from Taughannock Falls State Park, with Lake Cayuga just a bit further.
