Oct 2020. The trail up/down to the beach is hazardous, and not for the weak of heart. Getting down was a moderate hike, but going up was problematic. Stay away unless you are are good physical condition. The only roadway access is blocked by the lifeguards to discourage any normal people from entering the beach. what you see is often unappealing.
