Casimir of Koźle ( Polish: Kazimierz kozielski; ca. 1312 – by 2 March 1347) was a Duke of Koźle from 1336 until his death. He was the eldest son of Duke Władysław of Bytom the only one by his first wife Beatrix, daughter of Otto V the Long, Margrave of Brandenburg – Salzwedel.

· June 14, 2019 ·. The former St. Casimir Catholic Church on the South Side, the first Lithuanian parish in the Pittsburgh Diocese, was finished in 1902. Now called the 22nd Street Condos, the former church keeps many of its stunning original architectural details -- think white and incredibly ornate -- but with modern conveniences added in.
Parish History. St. Casimir, the first Lithuanian parish in the diocese, was founded in 1893. The parish was the outgrowth of the influx of Lithuanian immigrants to work in the area mills. In 1891 a committee of local Lithuanians appointed a committee to pursue the establishment of parish. In 1893, St. Casimir was founded.
