Damon Wayans is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and producer who is best known for being a member of the Wayans family of entertainers.
He was born on September 4, 1960, in Harlem, New York City, New York, United States. He is 62 years old.
He is the son of Howell Stouten Wayans, a supermarket manager, and Elvira Alethia (Green) a homemaker and social worker. He has nine siblings five sisters, and four brothers.
Damon has five sisters Diedre Wayans, Elvira Wayans, Nadia Wayans, Kim Wayans, and Vonnie Wayans, and four brothers Shawn Wayans, Dwayne Wayans, Keenen Ivory Wayans, and Marlon Wayans.
He was married to Lisa Thorner from 1984 to 2000. Damon has four children with his ex-wife Thorner: two sons Damon Wayans Jr., and Michael Wayans, and two daughters Cara Mia Wayans, and Kyla Wayans.
