David Russell Leisure (born November 16, 1950) is an American actor. He played Charley Dietz in the sitcom Empty Nest from 1988 to 1995 and fictional automotive "pitch man" Joe Isuzu in a series of North American television commercials for Isuzu from 1986 to 1990, and again from 1999 to 2001.

David Leisure, born November 16, 1950, is perhaps best known, other than Empty Nest, for playing lying car salesman Joe Isuzu in a series of outrageous Isuzu commercials in the 1980s. While at San Diego State University, he roomed with Robert Hays, and graduated with a degree in fine arts.
David Leisure Since his days as Charley Dietz, David Leisure has made television guest appearances (Diagnosis Murder, Caroline in the City, Action) and movies (10 Things I Hate About You, 3 Strikes).
