DEATH BATTLE!
Experts Wiz and Boomstick analyze the weapons, armor, and skills of various fictional characters to determine who would win a battle to the death. They present a simulated "what-if?" battle animation done in either video-game sprites, 3D models, hand-drawn art, and/or live-action.
DBX
Characters fight to the death; unlike in the main show, audience votes determine the outcome. While Boomstick initially hosted DBX, Ringmaster eventually took over in Season 4.
Death Race
Instead of fighting, famous characters race in their iconic vehicles to death. The show is a joint project between hosts Wiz, Boomstick, and Ringmaster.
Wiz & Boomstick
Wizard (usually shortened to Wiz) is a "meta-fictional combat scientist" who provides technical information for the show. Boomstick is the comedic foil to Wiz, providing the comedy relief, making (usually inappropriate) jokes, and noting how sexually attractive several female combatants are. He still contributes by providing information on the fighters, being the "Weapons Expert" for the show. Both host DEATH BATTLE! with DUMMI and commentate Death Race.
Jocelyn the Intern
Jocelyn the Intern is the only (surviving) intern at DEATH BATTLE Labs and helps Wiz and Boomstick in their research. She mainly appeared in The Desk of DEATH BATTLE. While "Weiss VS Mitsuru" implied Boomstick had killed her off during his experiments, Jocelyn returned in Season 6 of DBXto assist Ringmaster in the Season Finale.
Ringmaster
Marshall, also known as Ringmaster, is a character introduced in Season 4 of DBX, replacing Boomstick as the host for the show. Ringmaster is also the announcer of Death Raceand the new announcer for DEATH BATTLE! as of Season 8.
The hosts have stated they drew heavily from the VS Battle Series and Deadliest Warrior. The original series name was going to be Who Would Win?, and the first episode (done by Ben Singer) even formerly used that title.Wiz and Boomstick's physical appearances remained hidden until their fully animated debut in the special 100th episode, "Mario VS Sonic (2018)."Boomstick's distant father is Sarge from Red vs. Blue.- 3 min
Death Battle (stylized as DEATH BATTLE!) is a popular web series created by Ben Singer and formerly produced by Rooster Teeth, hosted on Rooster Teeth's website and the DEATH BATTLE! YouTube channel (formerly known as ScrewAttack). The show pits two or more fictional characters from different medias such as movies, comics, manga, television programs, literature, video games, advertisements ...
I really hope it's not the latter because I've made watching an episode of Death Battle a daily routine for me. Nothing is confirmed, but it's been stated that it would be dumb of WBD to remove any content or delete the channel since the channel will still earn money even if its left abandoned.
