Dena Amy Kaplan (born 20 January 1989) is a South African-born Australian actress, singer, dancer, and DJ. She is best known for her role as Abigail Armstrong in Dance Academy.
She was the winner of Australian Dance Idol in 2005, and moved to New York in 2006 to train at the world-renowned Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre. Dena's TV credits include Scooter: Secret Agent , City Homicide , X Factor , EliteXC , and Flight of the Conchords .
