The Band of the Grenadier Guards is comprised of musicians from The Royal Corps of Army Music and is one of 14 Regular Army Bands in the British Army. It is one of the oldest and most iconic military bands in the world. Formed in 1685 at the request of Charles II, the band began as an ensemble of Hautbois (a forerunner to the oboe).
