Equal Justice America is an independent non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation established in 1993. EJA has become a national leader in providing opportunities for law students to work with organizations that deliver civil legal services to those most in need.
Equal Justice America is pleased to offer summer fellowship grants up to $5,000. These grants are available to law students who attend a qualifying law school and are working full time for a civil legal aid or civil rights organization.

Our fellowship recipients have provided crucial assistance to tens of thousands of low-income clients struggling with the complexities of our civil justice system.
Equal Justice America's postgraduate fellowships have launched careers for lawyers committed to working on behalf of people in need. In recent years, EJA has funded two-year $130,000 Fellowships focused on Immigrant Rights, Veterans Rights and Youth Justice.
