Dec 19, 2018 · As the years went on, Larson would go on to animate for many of Disney’s (and animation’s) greatest features, such as Fantasia (1940) , Bambi (1942), Cinderella (1950), Peter Pan (1953), Lady and the Tramp (1955), Sleeping Beauty (1959), and The Jungle Book (1967).
In the 1980s his work was minor, but he served as animation consultant on animated films and shorts like Mickey's Christmas Carol, The Black Cauldron, and The Great Mouse Detective. In 1973, he began a recruitment training program that brought a new generation of animators into the Disney studio.
Further promotion followed, with Eric as animator on Walt Disney's first feature length cartoon, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937); along with future veteran animators Milt Kahl and James Algar, he animated the forest animals that followed Snow White throughout.
