Type osk into the search box on the taskbar and then choose "On-Screen Keyboard" from the choices that appear. With AltGr pressed, the € symbol appears in the top row for me (UK keyboard layout) but not sure where it would appear in other layouts.

    For laptops, turning on the Number Lock activates the number pad option of your integrated keyboard. These keys have the numbers in different colors below the letters or symbols.
