In a perfectly believable and somewhat heartfelt earnest manner, this episode reveals that Brian's in love with Lois. It's strange that such a far-fetched and seemingly tongue-in-cheek jab at television romance would turn out to be one of the better quasi-dramatic story arcs in the series.
As is usually the case with Family Guy episodes, the story takes many twists and turns, and in this particular episode, it starts off with Stewie being blamed for wetting the carpet in the Griffin living room. It turns out that Brian was the culprit, and the entire family finds out when Brian has an "accident" in front of everyone at the grocery store. Brian's then sent to visit a psychiatrist, where after a clichéd exploration of his innermost feelings, he reveals to his therapist that he's in love with Lois.
The episode begins with a fantastic pre-credits opening sequence featuring Stewie with a dream sequence where he brutally murders Mister Rogers with a laser gun, which ends with a dream within a dream moment where Mister Rogers comes back as Lois and calls himself Mr. Death.
