Gilbert de Clare, 6th Earl of Hertford, 7th Earl of Gloucester (2 September 1243 – 7 December 1295) was a powerful English magnate. He was also known as "Red" Gilbert de Clare or "The Red Earl", probably because of his hair colour or fiery temper in battle.

Gilbert de Clare, 7th earl of Gloucester (1243–95), Welsh nobleman whose belated support of King Henry III of England was a major factor in the collapse of the baronial rebellion led by Simon de Montfort. He was succeeded by his son, Gilbert de Clare (1291–1314), who died at the Battle of Bannockburn.
