Jun 5, 2024 · Grand Design has gone from nothing to a huge part of the RV world in 10 years. They initially were extremely customer oriented, however that changed when Winnebago purchased the company. It's a shame that so many of the problems are related to poor design, shoddy workmanship and extremely poor quality of components that go into any RV.
Is it possible that's for your dealer's "Coast-to-Coast" warranty, and not Grand Designs? It mentions motorhomes, and Grand Design doesn't make motorhomes that I'm aware of.
Mar 1, 2024 · As you may know, there has been a spate of stories (including one by RVtravel.com’s Cheri Sicard with a video from Jason Epperson from RV Miles) talking about Grand Design’s fifth wheel trailers’ “frame flex issues,” including cracking, bending, and otherwise becoming unsafe. The stories abound.
Jan 11, 2022 · Grand Design does have a fairly good reputation. Parts quality is a bit of a nonissue as all manufacturers pretty much use the same parts. Good service is more a dealer issue than that of a manufacturer.

Nov 17, 2023 · Both Jayco and Grand Design have die-hard fans who say their favorite RV brand is clearly better than any other. But is there any truth to that? Is one of these brands truly the “Best?” Bish’s RV has been selling RVs for 35 years and we’ve sold a lot of Jaycos and Grand Designs.
