Biography. Harald Greycloak was born in 935, the son of Eirik Bloodaxe (making him a grandson of Harald Fairhair) and Gunnhild Gormsdatter (the sister of Harald Bluetooth ). When his father died in 954, Harald Greycloak allied with Fairhair against King Haakon I of Norway, and he killed Haakon at Fitjar in 961.
