Aug 6, 2020 · On August 6, 2020, the Peace Memorial Ceremony was held in Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park to console the souls of those who were lost due to the atomic bombing, as well as pray for the realization of everlasting peace. This year marks the 75th anniversary after the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

From Hiroshima Station, take streetcar no. 2 bound for Hiroden-miyajima-guchi, or streetcar no. 6 bound for Eba and get off at the stop in front of the Atomic Bomb Dome (Genbaku Dome-mae).

From Hiroshima Station, take bus no. 3 bound for Kan-on Marina Hop, or bus no. 21 bound for Ujina and Hiroshima Port and get off at the Fukuro-machi stop. It is a five minute walk from there to the Peace Memorial Park.
