In 53 air-raids in World War II, Stuttgart was destroyed for nearly 60%. 1.5 million cubic meters of rubble from the City was brought to this hill, which increased in height from 470 to 511 meters.

It is the highest point in the area and offers great views overlooking the valley below including Stuttgart. It’s an interesting historical site to see while visiting the city.
