Featured articles are normally scheduled for the Main Page at least a week in advance. See the Wikipedia:Today's featured article/2024 navigation bar for upcoming and past blurbs. Template talk:Did you know contains articles and hooks nominated to appear in "Did you know", and users are free to comment on any particular item.
