The Kunst Haus, which opened as a museum in 1991, is a prime example of sustainability in keeping with the philosophy of the eco-pioneer Hundertwasser. In 2018, it became the first museum to be awarded the Austrian Eco-Label, whose logo was inspired by Hundertwasser. The building was completely renovated in 2023/24.
