The social scene is exactly how I want it (work hard play hard) Very highly ranked compared to my other options. Smaller and could be closer to the student body. The food is abysmal and the meal plan is overpriced, and there is almost nothing else to eat in the local area. The housing is also notably bad.
Colgate boasts a “happy and enthusiastic student body” with a typical student that “is athletic, smart, engaged, and down to earth.”. They “enjoy having fun, but spend time in the library as well.”. Many say “the typical Colgate student is a preppy New Englander, who can be found almost always wearing Patagonia and Sperrys.”.
