This film has been billed as a retelling of the Beauty and the Beast, which is true to an extent. A mysterious dragon-like avatar barges into her world, and while everyone else sees it as a disruptive and attention hungry creature, Belle can't help but be attracted to this mysterious persona.
I rated it a 7/10. I mostly agree with your review, awesome animation and decent voice acting, and imo a good modern imagining of the beauty and the beast story, especially as beauty and the beast don't end up together at the end, and just become friends. The music though was pretty good, Belle has a good voice.
