    Space Camp, formally known as United States Space Camp, is an educational camp program, operated by the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, with the goal of promoting science and math learning in a space themed environment. Space Camp runs for between 2 and 6 days, with participants taking part in various hands on missions, a few of which we’ll go into a little further on in the post.     Space Camp takes place in Huntsville, Alabama. This is the home of NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, which was where Wernher Von Braun and his team actually designed the rockets that took man to the moon, as well as the Space Shuttle and International Space Station.
