   • If wholefoods sales real stuff, the answer is yes. The problem is that Wholefoods plays bait and switch game. Based on my experience. they did sale some good stuff such as the USDA organic grind pork and USDA chicken. Over the years those stuff quality downgraded but not the price. I also have doubt about the 365 USDA organic milk that they sale.

   Is Whole Foods better than Costco?

   • Costco is also better for organic foods. Personally, I don't buy anything at Whole Foods. Their marketing is deceptive, especially in thier deli. If you're into organic foods, it can be had elsewhere for much cheaper and if you care about local foods, you should shop at the farmer's market or do a CSA anyways. I love ALDI.

   It's insanely cheap. You'll spend like $5.99 for bottled spices both at Whole Foods and anywhere else to like $1 or $2 at Whole Foods. I bought bottles to keep my spices at IKEA, and it was a really worthwhile purchase. They were like $2 a bottle.

   Exactly. It's great for specialty foods, especially for people with dietary restrictions [religious or other]. It has a good bakery and deli section that is reasonably priced as well. Staples are decent but not usually not worth it. Produce is not worth it.
