Yamishibai: Japanese Ghost Stories also known in Japan as Yami Shibai (闇芝居, Yami Shibai, lit. Dark Play) and Theater of Darkness is a Japanese anime series.

These stories are framed in each episode by an old man telling these tales to schoolchildren using kamishibai, a traditional Japanese method of storytelling using paper scrolls.
