Apr 11, 2016 · I work on paper. Almost all of my images incorporate one or more printmaking technique: relief, intaglio, and/or letterpress. I often work with Sumi and collage to create a background, then print over that, resulting in one-of-a-kind work instead of editioned prints.
Kate Brooks About With the company of sweet natured animals as pets, making their portraits came naturally. The regularity of this drawing and painting changed as time allowed, and I now do commissions for pet portraits as a hobby. The pastel medium lends itself well to the softness of the fur and fair colours influenced by the ambient light.
