The lighthouse is open daily for tours from mid-May through mid-October. Hours are: Wednesday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Monday to Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Call the park at (716) 795-3885 to confirm hours or for more information. The lighthouse is owned by New York State Parks.

Once I made it back to the car, I headed back to Route 104 and followed that west towards Rochester. From 104, I followed Lake Ave. north several blocks to the Charlotte-Genesee Lighthouse. The last time I visited this lighthouse was in August of 1998. At that time, I took a few quick shots from the parking lot, and left.
