Ludovic Bource (French pronunciation: [ly.do.vik buʁs]; born 19 August 1970 in Pontivy) is a French composer best known for his work in film scoring. He rose to international critical acclaim in 2011 for composing the Golden Globe-and Academy Award-winning score for The Artist.

Music is always an important aspect in films, but no more so than in The Artist, a film with no dialogue whatsoever. Classic FM's Anne-Marie Minhall spoke to Ludovic to find out his main influences for the film, his memories of recording it and plans for a very special live performance.
Composer: French composer Ludovic Bource is a long-time collaborator of director Michel Hazanavicius. Inspired by heavyweights such as Prokoviev, Debussy and Ravel, he originally worked with Hazanavicius on a number of television commercials.
