Ludovico III Gonzaga of Mantua, known as the Turk (Italian: il Turco), also spelled Lodovico (also Ludovico II; 5 June 1412 – 12 June 1478) was the ruler of the Italian city of Mantua from 1444 to his death in 1478.

This medal depicting Ludovico III Gonzaga, the Marquis of Mantua, was made by Bartolomeo Melioli, dated 1475. On this medal appear two late portraits of Ludovico. In both he is wearing armour, although his fighting days were long over. The inscription on the obverse refers to the famous relic of the Precious Blood in Sant' Andrea.
