Marc Dalessio. American Artist, Home, Oil Paintings, Paintings. Marc Dalessio, I’m an American naturalistic painter. I was born in Los Angeles in 1972. From the age of 6 to 10 I lived in the Fiji Islands where my father was a regional director of the Peace Corps.
Below are a selection of my landscape paintings from the last few years. Some of these paintings were painted en plein air and a few were done in the studio from studies. The gallery can also be viewed in full-screen.
Marc Dalessio was born in Los Angeles in 1972. His foundation in fine art began at the University of California at Santa Cruz where he also studied biology. Painting instructors Patrick Ahern and Hardy Hanson introduced him to plein air landscape painting and academic drawing, respectively.
Marc Dalessio is a world traveler and one of the finest plein air painters anywhere. Born in Los Angeles in 1972, he lived in the Fiji Islands from ages six to ten, where his father was a regional director of the Peace Corps.
