The Palast Orchester was founded in 1986 by Max Raabe and a group of fellow music students to play music from Germany’s Golden ’20s. In 1992, they landed on the German charts with their song “Kein Schwein ruft mich an” (“Not a Single Pig Calls Me”), written by Max Raabe.
Raabe arrives March 15 at Symphony Center with the Palast Orchester, a 12-member ensemble that continues its mission of presenting music from the early recording era that is not often performed today.
