  2. Jul 21, 2020 · Michael Robison. ceramics. Michael Robison started his pottery career at ETSU back in the early '90s. After an apprenticeship and several artist-in-residence positions, he is back at work in the studio making pots. All of his pieces are made using traditional clay bodies.

  5. Aug 23, 2022 · Michael Robison grew up in Knoxvilles Fountain City and attended Central High School. His plan to become a mechanical engineer got subverted when he discovered pottery at ETSU. He apprenticed with Jonesborough potter Gary Gerhardt, and went on to teach at William King Regional Art Center in Abingdon, Va. as an artist-in-residence.
