Muzio Attendolo Sforza (28 May 1369 – 4 January 1424), was an Italian condottiero. Founder of the Sforza dynasty, he led a Bolognese-Florentine army at the Battle of Casalecchio . He was the father of Francesco Sforza, who ruled Milan for 16 years.

Muzio Attendolo Sforza (1369–1424) was a condotierre, or soldier of fortune. Essentially he was a mercenary who fought for whomever would pay him. Muzio’s son Francesco Sforza (1401–66) was also a soldier of fortune. He grew up in the court of Ferrara and fought under his father until Muzio drowned in a battle in 1424.
