Ngukurr (/ ˈ n ʊ k ər / NUUK-ər, Aboriginal pronunciation:), formerly Roper River Mission (1908−1968), is a remote Aboriginal community on the banks of the Roper River in southern Arnhem Land, Northern Territory.
