Cornish heraldry is the form of coats of arms and other heraldic bearings and insignia used in Cornwall, United Kingdom. While similar to English, Scottish and Welsh heraldry, Cornish heraldry has its own distinctive features.

The younger son of King John and Isabella of Angouleme, Richard Earl of Cornwall was born on 5 January 1209 at Winchester Castle and named in honour of his uncle King Richard the Lionheart. The coat of arms of the Duke of Cornwall still bears the emblem of golden balls, a heraldic device inherited from the arms of Richard of Cornwall in the 13th century. A similar symbol can be seen in the modern arms of Berkhamsted Town Council, a castle emblem surrounded by 13 gold discs.
