Richmond Palace was a royal residence on the River Thames in England which stood in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. The black arrow is pointing in the direction of Friary Road which, as the name suggests, was the location of a friary founded by Henry VII but demolished in Henry VIII’s “Dissolution of the Monasteries”.
