Saltford is a small unincorporated community in Ontario, Canada, located at the intersection of Highway 21 and Saltford Road, on the east bank of the Maitland River in the township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh just east of Goderich.
Salford (/ ˈ s ɒ l f ər d / SOL-fərd), also known as the City of Salford, is a metropolitan borough with city status in Greater Manchester, England. The borough is named after its main settlement, Salford, but covers a larger area which includes the towns of Eccles, Swinton, Walkden and Pendlebury.

Salford Museum & Art Gallery is managed by Salford Community Leisure. We operate 40 sport, 16 libraries and 2 museums across the city, including the museum’s sister site Ordsall Hall, the Salford Watersports Centre, Salford Libraries and Leisure Centres.
Mr John Plant was appointed as the museum’s curator and librarian in October of 1849. The museum opened as the Royal Museum and Public Library on the 9th January 1850. After being open for 129 days, the museum had an average of 1,240 visitors per day.
