Outer Surf lessons and coaching sessions consist of instruction both on the beach and in the water with highly experienced instructors. On The Beach. Ocean Safety; Ocean conditions including swell, tides, wind, and currents; Surfboard Anatomy; Board handling; Paddling and “pop ups” In the Ocean
Instructors are Red Cross CPR/AED Certified. Our surf camps run weekly from May 29th through September 1st. The camp operates at the Kill Devil Hills oceanfront on the beach at Martin or Clark Street and has a daily start time of 8:30am. Pickup time is 12:00 noon.
