Team Lotus, originally Lotus Racing, was a Malaysian-licensed Formula One racing team and constructor, based in Hingham, Norfolk, UK, which competed during the 2010 and 2011 Formula One seasons. The team scored no championship points in the two years it competed.
Not to be mistaken for the original 1954–1994 F1 team, Team Lotus. Jarno Trulli and Heikki Kovalainen continued as the team’s full-time drivers in 2011, with Karun Chandhok joining as the team’s reserve driver alongside third driver Luiz Razia and test drivers Davide Valsecchi and Ricardo Teixeira.
More than ten years after its last race, Team Lotus remained one of the most successful racing teams of all time, winning seven Formula One Constructors' titles, six Drivers' Championships, and the Indianapolis 500 in the United States between 1962 and 1978.

With a legacy spanning from 1958 until 1994, Team Lotus clinched seven constructors’ titles and six drivers’ championships. Team Lotus made an impact almost immediately, scoring its first points with Cliff Allison, who finished fourth at the 1958 Belgian Grand Prix, the fifth round of the season.
